(2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 8)
Numerology is the ancient science of the meaning of numbers and as we move into 2024, (2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 8), it can be helpful to understand what’s on offer energetically in the coming year.
Last year I wrote about the energies of 2023, a ‘7 year’, and I mentioned that 7 is a very spiritual number: it was all about the inner work, about our self-discovery through reflection and as we enter 2024, it is time to reap the rewards of all this wonderful inner work, enabling us to create our own magic.
The falling away of the old
Many of you have been aware of how dense the energies were as you moved through 2023, making you feel stuck, lethargic and slow, and at times it certainly felt for lots of us like we were wading through treacle. The old, outdated structures and systems have been slowly crumbling around us. This falling away of the old is a good thing, it is exciting as it creates the space for newer, calmer energy to come in, as such creating a more easeful flow.
We all have the wobbles every now and again as things are shifting and this can be difficult for some, but change is very much needed, and a new way of living will emerge. You will feel the shifts; things can change quickly so make sure that you are grounded and centred, remember to breathe and as you learn to embrace this new energy life will begin to flow with greater grace and ease.
Let go
Allow yourself to let go of the old and outdated ways of being, let go of what no longer serves you because the number 8 is about discovering a new way to live, a new collective identity. An ‘8 year’ brings the opportunity for us to try new things, to break with traditions and you will have the opportunity to create new, positive ways of being that will benefit each and every one of us!
For me, the real energy of 2024 starts at the Lunar New Year in February, which is also the Chinese New Year, and this year is the Year of the Dragon. Give yourself time to take stock, to rest and relax after a busy end to 2023 so that you are ready to take advantage of all that 2024 has to offer.
When things feel out of control, go within, let go of the old fears that have been holding you back, let go of self-doubt and step into your own divine power one step at a time.
Move forwards
8 is the number of balance, prosperity, success with inspired action, power, abundance in all ways and opportunity. It represents the infinity symbol on its side, which denotes eternity and manifestation. It is all about courage and specifically having the courage to move forwards on your journey. The number 8 brings you the opportunity to use all the wisdom that you acquired in 2023 and transform it into success. It is also about embracing change as you birth a new, upgraded version of yourself.
It brings with it the energy of momentum and continuation. It is about karmic lessons and stepping into your own power. This is the year of success and the fruition of all the hard work you did last year. So, take all that you learnt from last year, a 7 year, and take action upon on it.
Set your focus and intentions
2024 is the year to harness your own personal power. Open yourself up to the wealth of opportunities on offer for you! Turn your dreams into reality. An 8 year will show us over and over again that what we put our focus and intention on will grow, albeit for better or worse. Remember to set your focus and intentions clearly on the positive aspects of your life, both current and those that you would like to draw into your energy field, to bring into being. Let go of the negative in the form of doubt and worry and remember that whatever you focus on you draw to you, positive or negative. Be conscious of your thoughts and stay positive.
In 2024 you need to let go, stop trying to control the outcome of situations, trust that the universe will hold you and new and exciting things will begin to unfold before your very eyes. Step into your own mastery, become the master of your own energy, be open to finding new and positive ways of being as you let 2024 be all it promises to be.
Step into your power
When I am feeling really low (yes it happens to me too) and I am struggling to find a way forwards I take a moment to imagine myself where everything has fallen into place with the most optimistic outcome. You would be surprised how quickly my reality shifts, and I am back as ‘Positive Pippa.’
2024 is all about your achievements, it is about taking responsibility for your own actions and putting in the work to bring your hopes and dreams into reality.
I truly hope that 2024 is a magical year for you as you step into your power, as you raise your vibration and shine your light out into the world.
