Hello, I’m Pippa Neve and I am truly delighted that you are interested in getting to know a little more about how I came to do the work that I do – work that I passionately love.
It was by going deeply into my own healing journey that I realised my calling to be a healer and to help and support others on their paths to change, at whatever scale was right for them. Having been sent to boarding school in the UK at a very young age and being a sensitive, self-conscious child with confidence issues that travelled with me into adulthood, I’ve had to work through multiple layers of childhood trauma in order to hold space for those who have experienced their own trauma and I firmly believe that the healing journey never ends for any of us – myself included.
Through my own healing, I recognised that some of my unhealthy patterns were the result of growing up with a narcissistic parent, which left me with low self-esteem, a profound lack of self-worth and no self-confidence. I now know that growing up with narcissism is a form of emotional abuse that results in childhood trauma and can cause symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). As a result, I was left feeling disempowered – mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I became a people pleaser and many of my early relationships were unhealthy, because I had no role model of what a healthy relationship looked or felt like.
Through my healing journey I have learnt to have healthy boundaries, learnt to love and learnt to feel valued. While this work is continuous, I’m happy to say that my life has changed beyond my wildest dreams in positive and wonderful ways. I am still learning to trust both myself and others, but I now have healthy boundaries and I love helping others to heal from the abuse/trauma they have experienced so that they too lead happy, healthy and fulfilled lives that are full of love, delight and joy.
My working life began a long way from healing. I first worked within the financial industry in London before becoming a production accountant working on programmes and films such as Footballers’ Wives and Harry Potter. It was while I was training as a teacher (BA (Hons) QTS) that I realised that the concern I had always had for others’ wellbeing meant I was particularly well-suited to the pastoral care side of teaching, holding space for others and helping them to feel safe. For many years I ran a very successful tutoring business specialising in helping children build their self-confidence, and I worked as a healer at Paul’s Cancer Support Centre in London, working with patients and their families to provide much-needed emotional and spiritual support. Upon reflection, my love of holding space is a key part of the work I do.
Ultimately, the Universe supported me and took me on a colourful voyage to the healing and meditation work I do with others today. I run a thriving healing practice in Sydney’s Inner West, where I live with my husband and our dog, Boo, and I also work with clients from all over the world via Zoom or distant healing.
I am a healer who is not afraid to go into the dark crevices of my own healing, enabling me to support you with your healing, which only needs to go as deep and as far as you are ready for. I am experienced and highly intuitive, with a true affinity for understanding emotions and I am passionate about the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of my clients.
